ROGUE SCHMIDT
I’m NYC-based-Chicago-built-alfalfa-farm-rasied-huge-lesbian-comedian, Rogue Schmidt.
My sophomore special, Going Rogue: A Fat Dyke Comedy show sold out past capacity (keep your lips sealed if the Fire Marshall comes knockin’) at Dorothy Lesbian Bar. The shows success has enabled me to take the show on the road with Going Rogue: A Fat Dyke Comedy TOUR, hopefully to be performed at all 38 lesbian bars in the United States in 2026/2027.
I’m known for my character work, as you can see from the pictures below. I’ve played a range of buckwild characters on The Paper Machete in Chicago. The show is a living magazine, it requires fast turn around (I’m talkin’ less than 24 hours sometimes) and a topical lense. I’ve taken some big swings there—- I’ve played Chris Christie too many times, I’ve portrayed a coked up white house tour guide, and I’ve even learned how to auctioneer for a sketch. The Paper Machete is one of my favorite ways to show off my bold, riotious, downright demented characters. It’s fast-paced, cut-throat and the most fun I’ve ever had on stage.
I’ve studied at institutions like The Acting Studio Chicago, Behind The Bangs with Chelsea Devantez, The Annoyance Theater and The Second City.
I’m representaed by Grossman & Jack Talent.
